What is a bid log?
The bid log makes all bids on a property transparent to the seller and prospective buyers, making the process more transparent.
As of when will the bid log be mandatory?
From 1 January 2023, the use of the bid log is mandatory and the prospective buyer will have access, if the sale takes place through an NVM, VBO or Vastgoedpro broker.
To which transactions does the bid log apply?
The bid log applies to the sale of houses and apartments (existing construction).
The bid log does not apply to the sale of newbuilds, recreational homes, commercial properties, garage boxes, building plots, residential/commercial properties and (agricultural) commercial properties without residential use.
Does the bid log also apply to properties in the silent auction?
Yes, the bid log is also applicable to properties in the silent auction.
When exactly should the bid log be provided?
The bid log is available to prospective buyers after the expiry of the cooling-off period and/or resolutive conditions.
What happens to a personal message from a prospective buyer?
A personal message from a prospective buyer does not appear in the bid log for the other prospective buyers.
